Description
With over 25 years of experience in insurance-based wealth solutions, Jurgen brings a strategic and hands-on approach to leading international multidisciplinary teams. He currently serves as CEO of Utmost Luxembourg S.A., a long-established Pan European insurance player with a team of 500 industry specialists and servicing professionals and over 53bn EUR Assets Under Administration.
Jurgen started his journey in the company in 2000 and held a range of leadership roles, most recently serving as Executive Director for Sales, Marketing & Wealth Structuring, between 2010 to mid-2025. His work has spanned multiple geographies in Europe and beyond, business development, and organizational transformation.
Before joining Utmost Luxembourg in 2000, he worked as a Senior Manager at PwC Management Consultants Luxembourg and began his career in private banking with Banque Indosuez Luxembourg in 1994. Academically, Jurgen worked for a number of years as a Research Associate at the University of Leuven (Belgium). He holds a PhD in Applied Economics, a Master in Business Information (MBI) from University of Leuven (KU Leuven), alongside a Master in Economics from University of Antwerp.
