Dr. Yahya Salem is the Founder and CEO of LUXPHAR, a Luxembourg-based biotech developing first-in-class ASIC1a inhibitors for stroke and ischemic diseases. With a strong background in drug discovery, neuroscience and translational pharmacology, Yahya previously led research projects at international institutes. His discoveries on ASIC1a inhibitors led to the development of novel tricyclic peptide therapeutics and repurposed formulations with breakthrough potential. Through LUXPHAR, he aims to advance these innovations from lab to clinic, positioning Luxembourg as a hub for next-generation neuroprotective drug discovery.
